Expansion is good… maybe not when it comes to your waistline

When everything goes to the crapper, what do you do?

Do you contract and control?

Or do you E-X-P-A-N-D and trust?

When your bills come due and you are short, do you look around at how you can cut back? What you need to sacrifice in order to pay the bill? Figure it all out?

OR Do you look around and expand into possibility? What’s another way to pay the bill? How else can I come up with the amount of money?

What if you are hanging out with a friend and they say something that hurts or offends you? Do you pull back and create separation? OR do you expand, open your heart and speak your truth?

When you contract you are looking at your problems from a place of fear and scarcity. You pull in, pull back, get smaller.

When you expand, you make a choice to look at your situation from a different perspective, to leave room for space and possibility.

There is a lot of trust in expansion. Contraction is all about control.

The next time you’re feeling anxious or upset, CHOOSE expansion. Notice how easy it is to automatically go into contraction and instead choose something different.

Leave a comment and let me know what situation you’re in now that you are contracting and what would it look like if you made a choice to expand instead?
